MHS (Mapping & Hydrographic Surveys) is an Australian operated company providing services in the field of professional hydrography, Maritime Engineering broadly covering the engineering of boats, ships, oil rigs and any other marine vessel or structure, Coastal Engineering and Geophysical Surveys services. Geophysical Surveys services include Marine Seismic Surveys, Hydrographic Surveys, Bathymetric Surveys and Seismic Surveys.

MHS (Mapping & Hydrographic Surveys) services cover an extensive array of hydrographic disciplines, with expertise offered in the following areas: Echo Sounding – technique of using sound pulses to find the depth of water, Bathymetry - the study of underwater depth of lake or ocean floors, Seabed Sampling, Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers - hydroacoustic current meter (sonar), attempting to measure water current velocities over a depth range, Differential GPS (Differential Global Positioning System) - enhancement to Global Positioning System that provides improved location accuracy, from the 15-meter nominal GPS accuracy to about 10 cm in case of the best implementations, and Precision Positioning - techniques to obtain the location of an object to better than a few centimeters of accuracy.
