Capabilities

Adopting the latest technologies in positioning, sensors and software places MHS in a good position to meet all the survey requirements of the offshore industry. MHS has the capability to perform rig site surveys, pipeline and cable route surveys, and pipeline monitoring surveys.

Capability 1

MHS can meet the requirements of all rig site surveys, utilising state of the art side scan sonar, DGPS positioning and navigation systems, marine geophysical, sub bottom profiling, and coring capabilities. Data can be processed on board and/or sent from MHS Survey Launch or vessel of opportunity by satellite telephone to MHS office processing section for rapid presentation of results and reporting.

Capability 2

MHS can meet the requirements of all submarine pipeline and cable surveys from the initial reconnaissance through to the final route surveys and construction. MHS utilises side scan sonar, DGPS positioning and navigation systems, marine geophysical, sub bottom profiling, and coring capabilities. Data can be processed on board and/or sent from survey Launch by satellite phone to MHS office processing section for rapid presentation of results and reporting.

Capability 3

MHS can meet the requirements of all pipeline monitoring programs, utilising side scan sonar, DGPS positioning and navigation systems, and sub bottom profiling to determine the condition and stability of the pipe. MHS can also provide positioning services for associated diving and ROV operations. Data can be processed on board or sent from survey launch satellite phone to MHS office processing section for rapid presentation of results and reporting.
