Capabilities

MHS provides an accurate and reliable measurement program using a range of pressure and RADAR sensors which can be deployed on a short or long term basis. Tidal studies result in the establishment of tidal planes and datums and harmonic constituents for the area of survey.

Capability 1

Deployment of digital pressure sensor gauges on fixed structures for short and long term tidal monitoring, connected by two way levelling to bench marks on shore for estuarine or nearshore surveys ot tidal studies.

Capability 2

Deployment of digital pressure sensor gauges offshore either buoy or bottom mounted for offshore and charting surveys.

Capability 3

Analysis of all measured tidal data and establishment of LAT (Lowest Astronomical Tide) and MSL (Mean Sea Level) datums, tidal planes and harmonic constituents.
