Side Scan Sonar Sweeping

Capabilities

MHS side scan sonar procedures are rigorously quality controlled, providing accurate seabed topography and location of seabed obstructions.

Capability 1
High resolution digital side scan imagery allows the seabed topography including sand waves and vessel scour to be accurately mapped. MHS utilises side scan technology to complement traditional bathymetric methods to ensure 100 % swathe coverage of the seabed.
Capability 2
High resolution digital side scan imagery allows the seabed topography to be accurately mapped. MHS utilises side scan technology to accurately locate any seabed obstructions - rocks, wrecks, lost anchors etc.
Capability 3
High resolution digital side scan imagery allows the seabed topography to be accurately mapped. MHS utilises side scan technology to perform search and rescue operations for missing vessels and aircraft.
